FAQ
01
How much do you charge?
The number one question everyone always asks. The short answer for pilot services? $100/hr up to 4 hours. My daily rate (after 4 hours) is $600 for anything piston powered and $1000 for turbine. Further expenses (landing fees, gas, hotel, airline travel to/from are the responsibility of the owner/operator) But there are many variables in every project and mission, contacting me is the easiest way to get a quote for your needs- I will always be up front with costs and estimates. I don’t believe in surprises for either party of the transaction.
02
What’s your experience?
I have worked as an aircraft mechanic for over 10 years-both in the Air Force and as a civilian, and have been flying professionally for over 5 years. I have criss crossed the lower 48 in both GA and jet flying. I have over 500 hours of tailwheel flying in both Cessna and Piper aircraft. I have over 500 hours of professional Alaskan flying including off airport and mountain operations, culminating in almost two thousand hours of safe, professional flying for both part 91 and 135 operators.
03
But can you help me?
I will work hand in hand with you to create a personalized plan to achieve your specific aircraft needs. Whether you have a brand new Cirrus SR-22T that needs picked up in Duluth and delivered to San Diego, or a hot rod Super Cub you want to move from the mountains of Idaho to the Florida Keys for the winter. Maybe it’s simply a flight school 172 that needs an experienced ferry pilot to move it across the county. Everything from the next airport over to ferrying an aircraft to Alaska. Whatever your needs are- I’m happy to help, and if I can’t do it- I can certainly help find someone who can.
